On Friday 22nd April, we celebrated Earth Day – this is a day to be aware of how important our planet is and what we should be doing to help it out! Lots of our Queens & Finalists are passionate about helping out the planet and raising awareness. Our Ms Galaxy Wales, Danielle, last year held a Global Clean Up and it worked so well that she organised the same this year!
The Global Clean Up for Earth Day invited girls to go out in their communities and pick up and litter. The litter was then to be weighed and the amount sent to Danielle, with a goal to reach of 1000lbs of litter removed from our streets & beaches! Danielle runs an Instagram platform “The Clever Initiative” where she comes up with fundraising ideas and gets people involved – such amazing work Danielle, thank you!
